Eternal Portrait Studio ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect the information you share when you commission a memorial portrait through eternalportraitstudio.com.

1. Information we collect

• Photographs you upload — typically one of yourself and one of a deceased loved one — used solely to compose your portrait.
• Account & contact information: name, email address, and (optionally) display name.
• Order details: package selected, the name of the loved one being honored, any notes or revision requests you provide.
• Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store full card numbers.
• Shipping address: only when you order a physical print.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and basic usage analytics needed to operate the site securely.

2. How we use your information

• To generate, review and deliver your portrait.
• To process payments and fulfil physical print orders through our print partner.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmation, preview ready, shipping updates, delivery).
• To provide customer support and respond to revision requests.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not use your uploaded photographs to train public AI models.

3. Photo handling & retention

Uploaded photographs are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in access-controlled cloud storage, and visible only to the small studio team needed to fulfil your order. Source photos and intermediate generations are permanently deleted within 7 days of final delivery. Your finished portrait is retained in your account so you can re-download it for 30 days; after that it is removed from active storage.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share only the minimum data required with these service providers:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Gelato — print production and worldwide fulfilment (physical orders only).
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Cloud hosting & database providers — secure storage and serving of the application.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing support@eternalportraitstudio.com. If you are located in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to object to processing, restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies for authentication and security. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Children

Our service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice in the app.
